Osasuna Promises faces a dishonest match this Saturday in opposition to Rayo Cantabria (5:00 p.m.) one week after going through Sestao, second categorised, whom they lead by two factors.
In a season finale through which the rojillo subsidiary has subscribed to the match by match, all of the matches develop into finals. “When you’re at the top you have to win practically everything. Our mentality is to win to be as high as possible, but there’s no extra pressure for that either,” explains Santi Castillejo.
The Valtierrano coach, conscious of what’s at stake, has been in a position to convey to his pupils the significance of today’s duel, and admits that “it has not been necessary” to keep away from distractions, “because they know who Rayo Cantabria is, which is a subsidiary like us, with quality players, many of whom have played in the first team and therefore know that it will be as difficult or more so than Sestao day. And if we want Sestao day to be important, we have to be very strong in this game”, he values.
The chief of the group travels to Santander with “the intention of winning, as always. What Sestao does does not depend on us. But we are aware that we have a complicated game, against a team that concedes few goals, which they do well and they have players who can define the game for you”, values the rojillo coach, including that his group must make the most of “those few occasions that we are going to have and we have to try not to get ahead because it will be very difficult”.
In addition to the standard casualties of Jony, Yoldi and Iván Bravo, Xabi Huarte may also be absent.
